Eels at the 2026 Jess Schipper Challenge

The Electric Eels Swimming Club was blessed with PBs, medals and smiles when Agatha, Lilly and Natalie performed with distinction at the 2026 Jess Schipper Challenge.

Lilly won the bronze medal in the 13 years 200 metres Individual Medley while Natalie won the silver medal in the 12 years event. Both ended the meet with a string of PBs.

Agatha shone in her 50 metre Freestyle and 50 metre Backstroke races with impressive PBs to add to her being crowned Under 14 age champion of the Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club.

Most inspiring of all was the extent of support which the girls provided to each other at the meet.

In the past week several younger swimmers have indicated their interest in representing the Eels at competition meets in the forthcoming short course season. This is a most welcome outcome of the squads program at the Wizards Swim School at Geebung. It boosts confidence in the Eels being able to maintain its profile in Brisbane Swimming.

Enjoy the photographs of the girls when they represented the Eels on the weekend.
