The Electric Eels Swimming Club was represented by the Winders family at the 2026 Queensland Sprint Championships.

Lilly competed on Saturday morning. It was a solo effort as I was unable to attend due to work commitments at the Wizards Swim School. Lilly had some great results at the Wavell State High School Championships. But it just wasn't happening for her at this meet. After some early setbacks Lilly claimed a PB in the 50 metres Butterfly. A great way to finish the day Lilly!

Caelan competed on Sunday afternoon. Caelan had been disappointed with his results at the Genesis Meet and was looking for improved performances. Look at his big smile after posting three PBs - the 50 metre Backstroke, the 50 metre Breaststroke and the 50 metre Butterfly events - racing against Queensland's best 10 year old swimmers. Congratulations Caelan!!
